Once upon a time, there’s a carver who worked for a king in his castle. The king has a wide territory. That’s why, everyone respected him.

The carver had worked for the king for a long time. His job was making sculpture for the castle’s gardens. He really did a good job, and king trusted him. So many kings, friends of the king, who adored his job.

Suatu hari, Sang Raja mempunyai rencana besar.
One day, the king had a plan. He wanna make sculptures for his whole family, best servants. It was 100 sculpture. The sculptures of his family will be placed in the middle of castle’s garden, while the warrior and servants sculpture will be placed around the garden. He wanted, the sculpture of the soldier looked like protecting him.

Sang ahli pahat pun mulai bekerja keras, siang dan malam. Beberapa bulan kemudian, tugas itu hampir selesai. Sang Raja kemudian datang memeriksa tugas yang diperintahkannya. “Bagus. Bagus sekali, ujar Sang Raja.
The carver did his best, night and day. Months later, it almost done. The king came to see his job. “Good. Very good.” said the king. “Before I forget, please make a sculpture of yourself.”

After heard what the king’s said, he backed to his work. And now, his job was done. Unfortunately, his sculpture of his self was not good as others. It was rough. He thought that why should he made a good one while it will be placed outside the garden. “It will often got rain and sun and broken soon,” he said.

Waktu yang dimintapun telah usai. Sang Raja kembali datang, untuk melihat pekerjaan ahli pahat. Ia pun puas.
The king satisfied to his job. But there’s one thing, “Why your sculpture is not like mine? I really want to put yours close to mine. If like this, it will be placed with soldier’s sculptures out there.”

He feel sorry for himself. Now what he thought before will be came true.

Teman, seperti apakah kita menghargai diri sendiri?
Friends, how do we appreciate ourselves? Pessimist will make everything we made not maximal. Talk to yourself that you are special, you have potential.
